Fuming wood produces a wide range of colours and textures. Here the oak has been lightly fumed, resulting in Paxton, a warm light floor with honey toned grain detail. These extra wide 220mm engineered planks are made to last using 20mm thick European nature grade oak that has been carefully sanded to achieve a smooth and sleek look. Nature grade oak has a broad range of natural characteristics such as knots and sap. We then finished it using satin lacquer, our traditional durable lacquer that creates a subtle gloss effect without a reflective sheen. You can buy Paxton safe in the knowledge that it is FSC-certified and comes from sustainably managed forests. Paxton is not suitable for use as wall cladding but can be used with underfloor heating.
